About this tool
Record your screen the exact size you need
Whether you're putting together a quick bug report, a software walkthrough, an online lesson or a gameplay highlight, our screen recorder captures exactly what you want — the entire desktop, a single application window, or just one browser tab. Pick your source from the native picker, choose your microphone and system audio, and a real-time preview shows what's being recorded before you commit.
You decide how big the saved file should be: keep it at source resolution for the sharpest output, drop down to 1080p, 720p or 480p to keep file sizes manageable, or type in a fully custom width and height — handy when you need a specific aspect ratio for a presentation deck or a phone-shaped preview for a mobile demo. Frame rate is selectable too (24, 30 or 60 fps), so you can match cinematic, web or smooth-motion gameplay targets.
Everything happens locally using the browser's getDisplayMedia and MediaRecorder APIs — there's no upload, no waiting in a queue, and no watermark stamped on your video. When you press Stop, the recording is saved instantly as a clean WebM file you can play anywhere or drop straight into a video editor.
