    Privacy Policy

    Last updated: September 4, 2026

At Rash Tools, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our free PDF, image, audio, video, and utility tools, how we use it, and the choices you have.

    1. Data We Collect

Almost every tool on Rash Tools runs entirely inside your browser. We do not upload your files to our servers, and we do not store, view, or share their contents.

The only information we automatically collect is the standard, anonymous data that every website receives, such as: browser type, operating system, approximate location (country/city level), pages visited, and referring website. This is used purely for improving the service and is never linked to your personal identity.

    2. Cookies

Rash Tools uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your language preference, keep the website running smoothly, and to power third-party services like analytics and advertising.

    • Essential cookies — required for the website to function.
    • Analytics cookies — help us understand how the site is used.
    • Advertising cookies — used by Google AdSense to show relevant ads.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time. Disabling essential cookies may prevent some tools from working correctly.

    3. Third-Party Services & Advertising

We use a small number of trusted third-party services to keep Rash Tools free and to improve the experience:

    • Google AdSense — Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site. Google's use of advertising cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendor cookies at www.aboutads.info. Third-party vendors and ad networks may also serve ads on this site and use their own cookies; we do not control those cookies.
    • Google Analytics — provides aggregated, anonymous usage statistics so we can improve the website. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on.
    • Microsoft Clarity — records anonymous, aggregated interaction metrics (clicks and scrolls) used only to improve usability.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, we ask for your consent before setting analytics and advertising cookies, in line with Google's EU user consent policy. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser and reloading the page.

    4. Your Files & Data

The vast majority of our tools process files locally in your browser using WebAssembly or browser APIs. Your files never leave your device unless a specific tool clearly needs backend processing — for those cases, your file is sent securely, processed immediately, and deleted without being stored or shared.

    5. Children's Privacy

Rash Tools is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will remove it.

    6. Your Rights

Depending on your location (for example under GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to:

    • Access the personal information we hold about you.
    • Request correction or deletion of your data.
    • Opt out of analytics and personalized advertising.
    • Withdraw consent for cookies at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the email below.

    7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the most recent changes were made. Continued use of Rash Tools after changes means you accept the updated policy.
