The randomness comes from your browser's built-in cryptographic random number generator (the same one used to generate secure passwords and UUIDs), which means rolls are genuinely uniform — every face of every die has exactly the same probability of coming up, and there's no bias from a worn-out plastic edge or a sneaky weighted die. This is mathematically fair in a way that no real plastic dice set ever quite is.
